Plan an outing to stay cool
One of the easiest and most effective ways to reduce your home's energy use during Peak Time Savings Hours is to not be home!
Step by step:
- Make plans with family or friends to see a movie, eat out, get some ice cream, or do other fun activities that can help you stay cool until nighttime.
- Before you leave home, make sure to raise your thermostat temperature by 10°F. If you have a smart thermostat, you can set it from your smart phone.
